Senior Project Manager – Themed Entertainment
We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of world-class themed attractions, immersive environments and experiential projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative business delivering complex, high-profile projects from concept through to installation.
You'll work at the heart of the business, managing multidisciplinary teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
- Lead the full lifecycle delivery of themed entertainment and immersive environment projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, programmes and budgets.
- Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with key stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams including designers, architects, engineers and contractors.
- Coordinate internal resources and external suppliers throughout project delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and project reporting.
- Build strong client relationships and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Manage procurement activities including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
- Monitor project budgets, costs and financial performance.
- Produce accurate project forecasts and progress reports.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, design intent and industry regulations.
- Carry out project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve project issues quickly while maintaining programme and budget.
- Drive successful project delivery from concept through manufacture, installation and completion.
About You
- 5–8 years' project management experience within themed entertainment, immersive attractions, scenic fabrication, museums or experiential environments.
- Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-disciplinary engineering or construction projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret creative concepts and technical drawings.
- Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
- Knowledge of Auto CAD or Solid Works would be advantageous.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or APM certification is desirable but not essential.
