We are working with a leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery who are looking to add an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative business delivering bespoke automated and engineered solutions across a range of industrial sectors. The role offers a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical control systems for bespoke machinery projects from concept through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical design of control panels and machinery systems
- Producing electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Creating Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Supporting project teams throughout build and commissioning phases
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical design within a machinery, automation, or manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience designing control panels and electrical systems
- Understanding of relevant electrical standards and regulations
