About the role:
As a Trainee Sage Intacct Consultant you will be expected to develop expertise in the implementation of Sage ERP solutions for the SME sector, including the integration of associated modules and add-ons. Upon completion of the programme, you will be proficient in leading project kick-off meetings, installing Sage software and related products, including Microsoft SQL, providing training sessions and performing data conversions. The role involves working on both on-site and off-site projects to ensure successful implementations. This is initially a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract with a view to moving into a permanent position at the end of the programme providing all milestones are met throughout. This position is based full time at our Head Office in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Attend business analysis meetings with customers to discuss existing systems and implementation of new systems.
- Carry out the installation of Sage products on the customers' hardware as appropriate.
- Carry out project management and documentation of the Sage product installation timescales, milestones and procedures.
- Carry out onsite visits to complete projects and support existing customers when necessary.
- National travel and potential overnight stays may be required to fulfil the customers' needs and the role.
- Academic mindset willing to study for role related certifications and qualifications.
- You will attend the 12-week Sage Partner Academy as part of this programme.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a customer driven role is essential.
- An accountancy or finance related qualification would be preferred.
- Experience working in an accountancy or finance related role would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP systems would be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deal with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
