What Will You Be Doing As A Customer Consultant?

  • Be the first point of contact, warmly welcoming customers in‑branch and on the phone.
  • Engage and understand customers' needs by asking insightful questions.
  • Listen and tailor solutions to each customer's unique circumstances.
  • Proactively reach out to customers over the phone to identify needs and discuss support options.
  • Maintain accurate records in our internal systems, with a focus on vulnerable customers.
  • Adhere to policies, standards, and controls, receiving training and coaching to support your role.

What Do We Need From You?

  • Previous experience interacting with customers, including banking, building society, contact centre, retail, food & beverage, hospitality or health/care environments.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Ability to work well with others and demonstrate a one‑team mindset.
  • Capacity to react quickly on busy days, handling a wide variety of customers with excellent time management.
  • A desire and ability to grow, adapt and change in line with business needs and priorities.

What Is In It For You?

  • Permanent, part‑time role (21 hrs per week).
  • Salary £25,500 pro rata per annum plus discretionary bonus scheme.
  • 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays, with an additional 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days after 5 years, plus a holiday trading scheme.
