Join us as a Technology and Cyber Security Risk Audit Lead to deliver multiple audits as part of our Internal audit plan, working closely with senior leaders across Group Internal Audit and the wider Group.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Lead and deliver IT and Cyber Security audits across areas including cyber risk, infrastructure, cloud security, software development, disaster recovery, resilience, and IT governance.
  • Plan and execute audit fieldwork, producing high quality reports with clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the Skipton Group, providing independent assurance and expert guidance.
  • Identify emerging risks and opportunities through continuous monitoring, sharing valuable insights to support informed decision making.
  • Contribute to the development of the Internal Audit Plan and communicate audit outcomes to drive positive business action.
  • Support and lead colleagues while contributing to transformation programmes, AI and Data Governance reviews, and other strategic change initiatives.
  • What You’ll Need
  • Experience in IT Internal Audit, Information Security, Cyber Security, Technology Risk, IT Governance, Cloud Services, or Technology Operations.
  • Strong understanding of IT and information security risks, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical and business processes.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical insights for a range of audiences.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with experience delivering work to tight deadlines, leading small teams, and driving tasks forward independently.
