You’ll develop, innovate, and maintain Dynamics solutions that streamline processes, empower colleagues, and enhance the experience of our members. What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of solutions for our Customer Engagement Platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Ensure solutions are designed and engineered using appropriate methods and tools, aligned to organisational strategy, security, and standards.
- Drive adoption of best practices in solution architecture and ALM to meet business goals, deliver value to stakeholders, and manage technical risk.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Lead and take ownership across all stages and iterations of Dynamics delivery.
- Plan, drive, and evaluate Dataverse solution construction (tables, relationships, forms, views, model-driven apps) aligning with engineering and security standards.
- Design and implement server-side extensions (C# plug‑ins, custom workflow activities) and client-side behaviours (TypeScript/JavaScript, form/context APIs).
- Define and execute robust integration patterns using Azure Functions, Service Bus, Webhooks, virtual tables and API Management; ensure observability with Application Insights.
- Automate business processes with Power Automate (cloud flows) with error handling.
- Establish ALM practices: solution layering, environment strategies, CI/CD using Power Platform Build Tools and Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
- Assure security-by-design (environment roles, security roles, field security, DLP policies) and compliance (auditing, GDPR).
- Set quality standards via reviews, Solution Checker, static analysis and test automation.
- Optimize performance and scalability (plugin pipeline optimisation, batching, concurrency controls, index strategy).
- Provide production support leadership, troubleshooting complex incidents and driving root‑cause remediation via controlled releases.
- Evaluate emerging platform capabilities and their organisational impact.
- Champion continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
