Hours: 36 hours per week (full time) to support branch operating hours.
Salary: £25,500 per annum (dependent on experience).

About the Role
The Customer Consultant is the first point of contact for customers, providing a friendly welcome in branch and over the phone, engaging in conversations to understand their needs and offer suitable banking products and services. You will also proactively reach out, maintain accurate records, adhere to policies, and support customers across various channels.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers in branch and over the phone, creating a positive first impression.
- Engage with customers to uncover and understand their financial needs, asking insightful questions.
- Listen carefully and offer tailored banking solutions that meet individual circumstances.
- Proactively reach out to customers via phone to identify opportunities and provide support.
- Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems with a focus on vulnerable customers.
- Adhere to policies, standards and controls with ongoing training and coaching.
Qualifications
- Previous experience interacting with customers, either in person or over the phone.
- Experience in retail, food & beverage, hospitality or health/care sectors, or any role that demonstrates a passion for exceptional service.
- Strong communication skills and a 'one-team' mindset.
- Ability to work quickly during busy periods and manage a variety of customers efficiently.
- Desire and adaptability to grow with changing business needs.
