Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth by developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to delivery. You will act as a strategic liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment with SBR's high standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in line with company strategy.
  • Manage and respond to incoming leads and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Quality, Production, Admin) to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor contract compliance and proactively resolve any client issues or concerns.
  • Conduct regular client visits and encourage site visits to SBR.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM and SAP ERP systems.
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates, bids, and proposals.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts holistically, ensuring cross-departmental alignment.
  • Prepare and issue quotes and sales orders.
  • Represent SBR at trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting SBR's values and strategic direction.
  • Support colleagues during periods of absence (e.g. holidays, illness).
  • Submit expenses in a timely manner.
