Responsibilities
- Drive a van or other delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure all packages are loaded securely and delivered in good condition
- Assist in the warehouse when necessary, including loading and unloading goods.
- Handle heavy lifting of packages as required during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including signatures from recipients.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver\'s licence for commercial driving.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
