Field Engineer
Due to continued success and growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Field Engineer to join our existing support team.
The Candidate will be used to providing both onsite and remote support. Your daily responsibilities will include implementation, maintenance and support so it is important you can switchbetween a support and project role. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and a hardworking individual.
Duties include;
- Installing, testing, maintaining and repairing hardware and software.
- Documenting processes and logging tickets for open work.
- Installing and configuring new equipment.
- Diagnosing hardware faults and escalating specialist problems.
- Provide end user training where required.
Have at least 2 years\’ experience working in a technical role and have gained the following knowledge:
Required Knowledge:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and upwards
- Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Active Directory
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Office 365 / Azure / Exchange Online
- Routing & Switching
Beneficial Knowledge:
- VMware vSphere
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- VOIP Telephone Systems
- SharePoint Administration
- SonicWALL TZ & NSA Firewalls
It\’s also essential you are well organised, good at time management, having the ability to work in a team and be a strong communicator.
You will be required to travel to various sites throughout the UK with potentially some overnight stays and some weekend work – to be considered for this role you must possess a Full UK Driving License.
