We’re seeking a Development Officer to support the delivery of new-build housing projects. The role covers the pre-construction stage of development and will work closely with the Development Manager and Director of Development. You’ll help to shape the delivery of the current programme and contribute to the next phase of SBHA’s delivery pipeline.
This role offers the opportunity for personal and professional growth and could suit multiple educational and experience backgrounds.
What you’ll do: Support the delivery of affordable housing projects through the pre-construction stages, coordinating project activity, contributing to appraisals and funding submissions and supporting stakeholder engagement, procurement and governance. You’ll help ensure projects are progressed in line with programme, budget and quality expectations.
What you’ll bring: Experience of supporting or coordinating development or similar projects, with strong organisational and communication skills. You’ll be able to analyse information, contribute to financial and risk appraisals and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to progress projects effectively.
