SBFM is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead the delivery of marketing activity that supports business growth, lead generation and brand visibility across a B2B environment. This is a hybrid role, with three days per week based in our office.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of SBFM’s marketing strategy, ensuring activity supports lead generation, business growth and brand objectives.
  • Work closely with sales and bids teams to develop marketing materials, presentations and supporting content that help win new business and support tender submissions.
  • Oversee and optimise digital marketing activity, working with agencies and internal teams to support paid activity, website performance and lead generation.
  • Manage the SBFM website, ensuring content is up to date, optimised for performance and tracked through Google Analytics.
  • Use Salesforce, lead forensics and marketing platforms to monitor lead performance, understand engagement and improve conversion.
  • Manage PR and corporate communications, building and maintaining strong relationships with media and external partners to raise SBFM’s profile.
  • Oversee content creation across key channels, including website, campaigns, case studies and internal communications, with a clear focus on quality and relevance rather than volume.
  • Line manage and support the Marketing Executive, providing direction, prioritisation and development.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Graphic Designer and Associate Graphic Designer to deliver high-quality, on-brand marketing and sales materials.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all marketing activity and touchpoints, and manage relationships with external marketing agencies.

Qualifications And Skills

  • A degree or equivalent in Marketing or a related subject is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within a growth-focused or service-led business.
  • Demonstrable understanding of marketing best practice, with a proactive approach to keeping up to date with evolving tools, channels and processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign desirable).
  • Broad knowledge of marketing strategy, channels and brand management, with the ability to apply this in a practical, commercial setting.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the confidence to produce clear, engaging and on-brand content when required.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Competence as a creative writer.
