As SB Services continues to grow, we are looking for a Construction Estimator to join our expanding multi-trade construction business based in Inverness.

Description

Working closely with our operational and commercial teams, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, energy, public and residential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing tender documentation and preparing accurate cost estimates
  • Obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Preparing take-offs, cost plans and tender submissions
  • Supporting the pricing of variations and additional works
  • Working closely with operational teams throughout the tender process
  • Assisting with project handovers and commercial reviews

Requirements

  • Previous estimating experience within the construction sector
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
