As SB Services continues to grow, we are looking for a Construction Estimator to join our expanding multi-trade construction business based in Inverness.
Description
Working closely with our operational and commercial teams, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, energy, public and residential.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing tender documentation and preparing accurate cost estimates
- Obtaining and evaluating quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Preparing take-offs, cost plans and tender submissions
- Supporting the pricing of variations and additional works
- Working closely with operational teams throughout the tender process
- Assisting with project handovers and commercial reviews
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within the construction sector
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
