The New Product Programme Manager leads the end-to-end regulatory, safety, and quality approval process for new products, ensuring they meet global and local standards before market launch. They coordinate compliance requirements, testing/certification, mitigate risk, and collaborate with product development, quality, engineering, compliance and legal teams to accelerate market entry and lead the integration of compliance into product design, strategy and planning for entry into Global Markets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner and work cross functionally with engineering, product development, procurement, compliance and legal to ensure compliant product launches globally on schedule.
- Regulatory Strategy: Interpret global, regional, and local regulations to define product compliance requirements. Work cross functionally with regulator subject matter experts.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Integrate knowledge of global requirements related to liquid and packing design and formulation and compliance checkpoints into the product development lifecycle (design reviews).
- Testing, Certification and Registration: Coordinate with accredited labs and regulatory authorities and compliance resources to manage testing, obtain requisite certifications and brand and product registrations, and maintain documentation repositories.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Required Qualifications: Strong experience in program or project management, product development, regulatory compliance, or quality management, preferably on specific product categories (e.g., consumer goods, food & beverage, alcohol industry). Strong technical acumen and consumer goods product risk analysis. Proven track record of leadership at high-paced environment to rapidly expand and launch consumer packaged goods across multiple geographies.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in alcoholic beverage industry compliance.
