This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in a fast‑paced, highly visible commercial role within the convenience channel. As National Account Executive, you’ll support the delivery of our commercial strategy across a portfolio of national convenience and impulse customers, helping to grow both our brands and customer partnerships. Starting with ownership of one or two accounts, you’ll develop hands‑on experience in customer management, joint business planning, promotional execution, and commercial negotiations, with a clear pathway toward larger account ownership and future leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop strong relationships with national convenience and impulse customers.
- Support the Senior National Account Manager and wider Off Trade Convenience team in delivering joint business plans, promotional activity, and volume targets.
- Help identify opportunities to drive distribution, visibility, and category growth within customer accounts.
- Work cross‑functionally with category, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver best‑in‑class customer execution.
- Analyse sales performance, shopper trends, and market data to identify opportunities and risks across your accounts.
- Support forecasting, promotional planning, reporting, and budget management processes.
- Attend customer meetings, internal planning sessions, and commercial reviews.
- Continue developing your commercial capability with the opportunity to progress into broader account ownership over time.
- Grow your commercial capability with the view to take on larger accounts and leadership over time.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a commercial role within FMCG, convenience retail, drinks, or a related industry.
- Experience or strong interest in the convenience, impulse, or wider off‑trade channel.
- Strong analytical skills with confidence using Excel and interpreting sales data.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Proactive, ambitious, and eager to develop within a collaborative commercial team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
