We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee multiple hospitality venues, including bars, nightclubs, and cafés. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and exceptional customer experience across all locations.
You will work closely with venue managers and area manager to maintain high standards, improve performance, and support the continued growth of the business. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong hospitality experience, commercial awareness, and the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Multi-Site Operational Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple venues including bars, nightclubs, and cafés
- Ensure each venue operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company standards
- Support and develop venue managers and leadership teams
- Conduct regular site visits to maintain standards and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure consistency in service, cleanliness, and brand presentation across all locations
- Financial Performance & Cost Control
- Monitor sales performance, labour costs, and profitability across all venues
- Ensure labour is managed efficiently in line with revenue targets
- Review weekly reports, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve operational efficiency
- Control costs including staffing, stock, and operational expenses
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop venue managers and key staff
- Build strong, motivated, and accountable teams
- Set clear expectations and performance standards
- Address performance issues professionally and effectively
- Create a culture of ownership, professionalism, and excellence
- Customer Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure exceptional customer service across all venues
- Maintain high standards of presentation, atmosphere, and service
- Protect and enhance the reputation and identity of each brand
- Support venues during busy periods and key trading times
- Compliance, Licensing & Safety
- Ensure full compliance with licensing laws and regulations
- Maintain health & safety and food safety standards
- Ensure venues operate in line with company policies and legal requirements
- Support managers in handling incidents, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Essential:
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in hospitality management
- Experience managing bars, nightclubs, or multi-site hospitality operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong financial awareness and cost control ability
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Professional, reliable, and highly motivated
