Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Stores Person / Counterbalance FLT Driver. Based in the Morley, Leeds area, they are looking for a great candidate for an important role within the business. The right candidate will join a growing business and become part of a dedicated, friendly team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and checking of delivered inventory
  • Booking in purchase orders
  • Storing inventory using forklift and manual methods (valid counterbalanced licence is a must)
  • Using NAV system to analyse, track and identify inventory levels
  • Using Microsoft system to identify and pick components for production
  • Replenish KANBAN and investigate and report any low inventory levels
  • Quarterly stock count
  • General daily warehouse duties
  • Adhering to health and safety policies
  • Regular housekeeping and general tidiness

Requirements:

  • FLT Counterbalance License (refreshed within last 5 years)
  • Stores Experience
  • Ability to use computer system in daily role
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good level of fitness, ability to lift and carry stock
  • Reliable, professional, friendly team player

Hours of Work: 6am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday

Hourly Rate: £15.30ph - 40 hour week – Basic Salary £31,824 + Overtime when required.

This role will be offered, following an interview process, on a 12-week temp to perm contract, the first 12 weeks paid weekly via Sayjo Recruitment, before transferring onto a permanent contract direct with the hirer.
