Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Warehouse Operative Trainee FLT Driver. This opportunity will offer Reach and Counter Balance licences internally, ongoing training and general warehouse work. There is heavy lifting involved and checking of complex orders and codes. Our client is a well-established distributor with a large warehouse facility in Elland.

Role:

  • Unloading deliveries and putting away stock
  • Picking and packing sales orders, either parcels or full pallet picking
  • Loading collection wagons
  • Use of a Folk Lift Truck – Counterbalance AND / OR Reach
  • Assisting with stock take
  • Keeping working environment clean, tidy and well organised

Requirements:

  • FLT driving ability - training and licence will be provided.
  • Previous order picking experience.
  • Good numerical and reading skills, to read and pick orders
  • A healthy respect for all things health and safety
  • Good timekeeping and attendance
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and motivated.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Working hours - Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 3:00pm (no weekends and no bank holidays) – Some flexibility may be required.
  • £13.91 per hour.
  • 42 hours a week with 2 x 15 mins break and 1 x 30mins break.
  • 20 days holiday plus stats, increasing to 25 days plus stats with service
  • Company pension after 3 months
