Telesales Appointment Setter opportunity, to help drive new business opportunities into the sales and account management team. Based in Elland, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, you will work in a busy sales team as the only appointment setter, creating new b2b (business to business) opportunities through research, cold calling and fact finding to create quality sales meeting appointments.

Duties include:

  • Liaising with the field based sales team on a daily basis to discuss updates, plans and targets
  • Identify and qualify the businesses and decision makers that the company wants to win opportunities with through research of a sales database
  • Cold call potential clients by telephone and follow up emails, providing them with required information in a professional format
  • Influence and convince prospects to meet with relevant sales colleague by delivering a professional sales pitch and discussing the services and products available
  • Maintain and update the company database with accurate information on a daily basis
  • Prepare and produce reports when required
  • Participate in ongoing training and development which will take place on a regular basis on/off site
  • General administration and customer support
