Sayjo Recruitment Ltd is acting on behalf of a client to recruit an Internal Sales / Account Manager to focus on New Business. This is an exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will join a great sales team, working in an exciting industry.

Company Profile: Our client is a Distributor of Solar PV, Energy Storage Systems, Batteries and Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers etc. Selling to installers around the UK, it’s a business-to-business sales / account management role. This is an excellent company for a salesperson to work for, they have lovely office space, excellent marketing material, lots of different service offerings, like a training academy that offers product and industry training. All things that add value to the customer and set them apart from competitors. It’s nice to sell something that you can be proud of.

Role: Our client is looking for a confident, motivated Internal Sales / Account Manager, with the ability to work alongside a successful sales team, which includes a Sales Director, Business Development and Account Managers and Sales Order Processors. The successful candidate will play an important role in the businesses plan for future growth, helping to re-activate dormant accounts and open accounts for new customers. You must be comfortable contacting potential clients via email, phone and social media, and have the ability to accurately identify and qualify opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to demonstrate previous experience in an internal sales role, involving lots of telephone sales work / cold calling included.
  • Competent in the use of social media, LinkedIn etc to network sales leads.
  • Able to promote products, services and training to prospective customers through various marketing activities.
  • Ability to build rapport with potential clients / dormant accounts.
  • Ability to identify and qualify opportunities and make appointments for external sales reps to visit potential customers if potential warrants it.
  • Ability to use computers and experience working with a CRM database to record sales activity.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate that you are self-motivated and hungry to succeed in this role for yourself and the company.
  • Ability to work using your own initiative whilst being a team player.
  • Potential to attend company exhibitions and events, both onsite and outside the business.

Key Competencies:

  • Positive attitude, friendly and motivated, able to build positive relationships with potential / dormant customers.
  • Good market research skills, find the companies, decision makers and buyers.
  • Excellent social media, networking and marketing skills.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Accurate data entry on the company CRM system, logging all calls, call backs and relevant info.
  • Identify and discuss new business opportunities with colleagues and the Sales Director.
  • Excellent internal communication with the wider team.
  • To achieve targets and deadlines set by the Sales Director.

Our client is looking for someone who can work from their office in Elland, 5 days a week.
