Sayjo Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager. Our client provides an extensive range of engineering products and services, offering a full turnkey package from idea to design, manufacture, installation and service.
PURPOSE
Reporting to the Senior Projects Director, you will work within the projects team, managing projects from start to finish, ensuring the project is delivered safely, in compliance with the specified standards, on time and within budget.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS & DUTIES
- Ensure projects meet customer specifications
- Define project scope of works
- Interpreting client requirements
- Conduct site surveys when required
- Develop project plan, timescales and associated project documentation
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and communication skills are essential
- Conduct all duties efficiently
- Undertake any other tasks as could reasonably be always required of the Role and act in the best interests of the business
- Communicate project scope and expectations to team members
- Ensure all relevant H&S and relevant legal requirements are observed
- Identify external resources / suppliers to deliver project
- Build and develop business relationships with clients
- Develop and deliver weekly progress reports
- Communicate with client
- Identify and resolve issues that may arise during project life cycle
- Track and monitor project milestones
- Monitor project budget and identify additional chargeable costs
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills and Knowledge
- A Mechanical HNC or Equivalent
- Project Management experience
- Ability to produce / amend mechanical drawings using 3D AutoCAD
- Mechanical Engineering experience
- Excellent planning and organisational skills

REMUNERATION / BENEFITS
- Salary £55K+ dependant on experience
- Car or Car Allowance
- 25 Days Holiday plus Stats, increasing over 3 years to 28 Days plus Stats
