We are S&PB Retail Ltd, a fast paced, food retail business with over 90 shops across the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire, with plans to extend further. We are currently looking to add an Area Sales Manager to our retail management team. The location of the role is to provide area management support to our Poundbakery and Sayers shops across the Liverpool area (including potentially St Helens, Skelmersdale, Wigan).

The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' attitude and be used to a fast paced, hands on, fresh food environment and used to the challenges of retail and managing an area of circa 15 shops. Previous experience operating in our field and at this level is essential, we are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running.

You will be a hands-on professional, motivated, energetic team player with high standards of food safety, health and safety and shop cleanliness, keen eye for product availability and sales driven. You will inspire, motivate and lead your shop teams. You will have the ability to solve problems, work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player.

You will be IT literate and familiar with the use of the major software packages, for example Word, Excel, shop tablets, with the ability to interpret and act on various reports and information. This position comes with a Company car on a job need basis. You will have a clean, full UK driving license and have no issues with travel and covering issues on other areas across the business when required.
