We're still in the early stages of our journey, but we've already begun working with organisations including hospices and charities, with exciting partnerships continuing to develop.

We're now looking for a creative Social Media Manager who wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

The Role

This isn't a role where you'll simply schedule posts.

We're looking for someone who can help shape our social media presence, develop a recognisable visual identity and build a loyal community around the Say After brand.

You'll work closely with our founder to turn ideas, stories and real life moments into engaging content that connects with people emotionally.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In and You Tube.
  • Develop a consistent brand identity and visual style across all platforms.
  • Design static graphics, carousel posts and short form videos.
  • Repurpose founder videos into engaging social media content.
  • Write compelling captions that encourage conversation and sharing.
  • Schedule content and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.
  • Respond to comments and messages where appropriate.
  • Suggest new content ideas, campaigns and ways to grow the brand organically.
  • Help us establish Say After as the family storytelling app.
  • What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who

  • Has experience managing and growing business social media accounts.
  • Has excellent graphic design skills.
  • Can edit engaging short form videos.
  • Understands branding, storytelling and emotional marketing.
  • Has strong copywriting skills.
  • Thinks creatively and isn't afraid to bring new ideas.
  • Wants to become part of a growing company rather than simply complete tasks.
  • Bonus Points

Experience with

  • Canva Pro
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Cap Cut
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Later, Buffer or similar scheduling platforms
  • AI tools that genuinely improve workflow without making content feel robotic.
  • Success In This Role

Success won’t be measured purely by follower numbers.

We’re looking for someone who can help us build

  • A recognisable and premium brand.
  • Consistent engagement.
  • Trust with families.
  • High quality content people genuinely enjoy consuming.
  • Organic growth that ultimately leads to more app downloads.
  • What You’ll Receive
  • Remote, flexible working.
  • Direct access to the founder with plenty of creative freedom.
  • An opportunity to help shape a meaningful brand from an early stage.
  • Ongoing monthly work with scope to increase the role and budget as Say After grows.
