We’re looking for a creative, motivated and hands-on Social Media Videographer & Photographer to join our in-house marketing team. You’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality photos and video content for all Saxtons social media channels, website and advertising campaigns. This is a fast-paced, content-driven role ideal for someone who loves cars, storytelling and creating visuals that help elevate the Saxtons brand online.
You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to create engaging content for the company and all associated companies’ social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused. You will also be responsible for seeking new social media avenues and ways to connect to relevant audiences. This role plays a pivotal part in the marketing of the company, initially acting as our customer’s eyes at the first point of contact to guide and support them in their decision to purchase a new vehicle. An eye for detail is essential to ensure that the company’s inventory is showcased to the best possible standard.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Work closely with the marketing team to bring creative concepts to life, from car showcases to lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content.
- Edit content in line with brand tone.
- Manage and organise media assets to maintain a streamlined content library.
- Contribute fresh ideas for new video series, campaigns and social trends.
- Occasionally support live events and dealership shoots.
- Stay up to date with current social media trends especially in the automotive and luxury sectors.
- Proven experience in videography and photography (portfolio required).
- Knowledge of video/photography editing platforms such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom or similar.
- Understanding of lighting, composition and sound.
- Basic knowledge of social media formats and storytelling (Reels, Shorts, YouTube).
- Motivated with an eye for detail and design.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for cars and the automotive industry.
- Experience creating content for brands or dealerships.
