Role Description

The role will be varied and will offer the individual good exposure to the whole accounts and admin function as well as the opportunity to grow within this established, successful business.

Duties:

  • Code & post invoices on a timely basis
  • Reconcile invoices to statement for daily & monthly payment runs
  • Raise & post payments for vehicle purchases and finance settlements
  • Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Posting monthly direct debits/receipts and making daily payments
  • Assisting with the processing of cashbacks & refunds
  • Assist the management teams by resolving any accounting queries
  • Report discrepancies to the relevant department manager
  • General administrative duties as and when required
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts

Person Specification

  • Part or fully AAT qualified preferred (or other accounting qualification)
  • Use of Sage and Keyloop preferred but not essential
  • Experience of working within a similar role
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Competent IT skills including excel
  • Be a team player
  • Ability to work well under pressure, schedule work appropriately and show initiative to improve procedures where appropriate
