A Top 10 contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team working on the MoD framework. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on major design and build projects ranging from £5m to £60m.

With a turnover of over £1bn, our client is one of the UK's leading construction groups, operating across the education, defence, custodial, commercial and leisure sectors. They offer the opportunity to work on some of the region's most prestigious projects ranging from £5m to £100m.

The initial projects are working on local RAF bases under the MoD framework, consisting of new build and refurbishment projects with a pipeline of work in the region valued at £400m+. They are also partners on several frameworks including MOJ, P22 / P23+, Department for Education (DfE) and have a pipeline of £3bn over the next 5 years with a full order book for 2026 and into 2028.

Salary & Package:

  • Great basic salary of £50,000 - £60,000
  • Company car or allowance (£5,500)
  • Performance related bonus

Requirements:

  • Experience managing sub-contractor variations

Key Duties:

  • Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
  • Assist or lead with production of CVRs (DOE)
  • Dealing with variations and valuations
  • Input during pre-construction stage

To qualify for the higher rate of pay, you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £5m+.
