This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join a leading contractor delivering projects across commercial, education, leisure, care and retirement, student accommodation and high rise residential with project values ranging from £5m – £50m.

Salary & Package
Basic salary of £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

Key Duties
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
Work collaboratively with the design, planning, and delivery teams
Assist in the preparation of tenders, cost plans and budgets
Requirements
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Conquest, Causeway, or similar)
A minimum of 2 years\’ experience in a similar estimating role
Excellent communication skills and negotiation ability
Proven track record of pricing building projects
To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as an Assistant Estimator delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £2m+.
