Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Contractor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – a Top 10 contractor is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team working on the MoD framework. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on major design and build projects ranging from £5m to £60m.

The initial projects are working on local RAF bases under the MoD framework which consist of new build and refurbishment projects with a pipeline of work in the region valued at £400m+.

They are also partners on several frameworks including, MOJ, P22 / P23+, Department for Education (DfE) and as such have a pipeline of £3bn over the next 5 years and a full order book for 2026 and into 2028.

Salary & Package:

• Great basic salary of £62,500 – £75,000
• Company car or allowance (£7,500)

Requirements:

• Experience managing sub-contractor variations
• Experience working with a building contractor
• Experience dealing with final accountsIndustry related qualification

Key Duties:

• Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
• Dealing with variations and valuations
• Input during pre-construction stage
• Production of CVRs

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Senior Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor ranging from £5m+.
