A Top 10 contractor is searching for a Bid Manager to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Bid Manager to secure key design and build projects across the East Midlands ranging from £5m to £100m.

With a turnover of £1bn+, our client is one of the UK's leading construction groups, operating across the education, custodial, commercial, retail, defence, leisure, and high-rise accommodation sectors. They offer the opportunity to work on some of the region's most prestigious projects ranging from £5m - £100m.

They are also partners on several frameworks including MOJ, MOD, P23+ and the Department for Education (DfE), and have a pipeline of £3bn over the next 5 years with a full order book for 2025 / 2026.

Requirements:

  • Meet time pressures to deliver high quality submissions on time
  • Display a creative flair and ensure high standards of accuracy
  • Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
  • High level of attention to detail

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Secure frameworks and competitively tendered schemes
  • Manage tender process and submit work-winning bids
  • Develop bid strategy best-practice tendering
  • Attend PQQ and bid meetings

The Package:

  • Great basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000
  • Company car or allowance (£6,000)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Bid Manager to deliver D&B projects of £10m+.
