- Have completed a Masters level degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, accounting, economics, computer science, engineering etc.);
- Proficiency in Python (Experience in R or VBA desirable)
- Need to be available to work within the next month.

The Company
Our client is a leading bank, offering a comprehensive range of banking services, including corporate, investment, and retail banking. This role will entail supporting the Risk team and delivering on Business Strategy by supporting the provision of a robust second line of defence (oversight, review, and challenge).
The Responsibilities
- Provide modelling solutions and insights to support business and risk decision making.
- The person will join in all prudential aspects of the bank.
- Supporting the embedding of the bankβs risk management framework into its business operations and processes.
- Design and or improve analytics and modelling solutions to meet the bankβs prudential requirements (e.g., deposit behaviour, stress testing, cash flows).
- To raise concerns about controls, practices, behaviours, and possible breaches of credit risk and market risk limits, policies, and guidelines to the Enterprise Risk Lead and to CRO.
- Assist on producing key regulatory documents, including the ILAAP, ICAAP, Recovery Plan and RAS.
- Providing oversight on the treasury collateral management process.
- Assist in improving the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of risk-related management information (spreadsheets, VBA macros, PowerBI), which supports strategic decision-making and risk management practices.
- Supporting with the production and delivery of risk-related reports for internal and external stakeholders (including the Board, Credit Risk Committee, Credit Approval Committee, ALCO, regulators, credit rating agencies).
- Drive process improvement opportunities that enhance the efficiency of the report production process.
- Support the implementation of various projects in the bank (e.g., treasury system, loan back office, data management)
- Assisting Credit Admin on various tasks daily.
