We are seeking to employ an experienced Fitter to join our Kitchen & Bathroom team. The kitchen and bathroom fitter will work to a planned schedule, within a small team, replacing our tenants’ kitchens and bathrooms. The role sits in our Customer Operations team, who provide a high-quality responsive repair and planned works service to our customers.

The purpose of the Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter is to deliver an excellent standard of service to our customers, whilst completing the installation of kitchens & bathrooms along with all associated works in our customers’ homes.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Demonstrate experience of providing excellent customer service
  • Have previous experience of refitting kitchens and bathrooms
  • Possess good plumbing and carpentry skills, as well as experience with fitting sheet vinyl flooring, tiling, plastering and painting & decorating
  • Be competent in using IT equipment such as a tablet
  • Be able to follow department processes
  • Hold a current driving licence
  • Display behaviours that align with Saxon Weald’s values
