Saxon Weald is offering an enthusiastic and motivated individual the opportunity to join our HomeFix Electrical team as an Apprentice Electrician. HomeFix is our in-house repairs service, delivering essential maintenance and improvement works that help our customers live safely and comfortably in their homes.
This apprenticeship is ideal for a college leaver, or for those looking to start a new career in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues to carry out electrical maintenance, repair and installation work in customers’ homes. You will always work under supervision and in line with approved standards. You’ll learn how to work safely, treat customers and their homes with respect, and help ensure jobs are completed right first time.
Alongside on-the-job learning, you will attend college (one day per week) and work towards achieving a Level 3 Installation & Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship (City & Guilds 5357). This will involve a mixture of classroom-based learning and developing practical skills in the workshop. The apprenticeship will usually last around three years, subject to successful progress.
