We are an established GP Surgery providing Primary Care Services to the Crowborough area in East Sussex. We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our friendly team, providing day to day administrative support to the patients, doctors and other clinical staff. To provide first class customer service to our patients and outside agencies.
Specifically we need you to:
- Receive patients and visitors into the Reception area.
- Carry out registration and transferring patients in and out.
- Handle patient requests, including booking and amending appointments, dealing with result enquiries both in person and on the telephone.
- Processing prescription requests when trained and competent to do so.
- Scanning and correctly labelling documents on to EMIS using Docman (our clinical IT systems).
- Providing administrative support to the Practice management and clinical staff.
- Maintaining the Emis clinical system by making changes to appointment schedules.
- Reporting faults with the computer, booking in and telephone systems.
- Setting up the clinical rooms, including re-stocking clinical supplies.
- Dealing with incoming post.
- Contribute to clinical workflow tasks when trained and competent to do so.
- Communicate with colleagues, clinicians and other outside agencies to ensure a seamless service to the patient.
