Do you take pride in delivering high-quality work that makes a real difference? We’re looking for Multi-Skilled Operatives to join our Empty Homes team within HomeFix Planned Works. In this role, you’ll help transform empty properties into safe, secure, and welcoming homes, ready for new customers to move into and thrive.
Working across a range of trades, you’ll carry out repairs, maintenance and installation work to bring homes up to our lettable standard. From fitting kitchens and bathrooms to carpentry, plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating, no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in reducing void turnaround times and helping customers access quality homes sooner.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience installing kitchens and bathrooms, including associated works.
- Have strong carpentry skills and experience carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance work.
- Be competent in domestic plumbing, tiling, flooring and decorating.
- Be able to plan and organise your work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Be confident using IT to record work accurately.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements within construction and domestic environments.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a company van.
- Demonstrate behaviours that reflect Saxon Weald’s values.
