Are you an experienced fire safety professional looking for your next challenge? Saxon Weald are recruiting for a Fire Risk Compliance Manager to join our Property Safety team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our homes meet all required standards, with responsibility for the efficient and accurate completion of fire safety actions. You’ll review Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), oversee resulting actions, develop specifications of work, raise orders, and carry out post‑work inspections. You will also provide expert technical guidance to colleagues, contractors, and customers, attend site visits, and maintain a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practice. Working closely with the Fire Safety Manager and wider Property Safety team, you’ll produce reports and analysis for the Head of Property Safety and help foster a culture of openness, customer focus, and high performance. You’ll also support colleagues in resolving complaints through a collaborative, learning‑focused approach.

Key Qualifications and Competencies- Have a thorough knowledge of Building and Fire Regulations & Legislation
- Have experience from a technical management perspective, demonstrating understanding of the built environment.
- Have knowledge of Health and Safety legislation pertaining to management of housing and the construction industry including CDM and HHSRS.
- Have the ability to analyse information, make informed judgements and manage risk effectively.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
- Be able to work to strict deadlines, managing constant and often conflicting demands.
- Be able to work independently, using your own initiative and as part of a team sharing ideas and resource.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce reports for the leadership team.
- Have a full UK driving license and your own car.
- Be prepared to study for a professional qualification, if required by legislation.
