Are you a caring person who is passionate about supporting older people?
We're looking for a Scheme Manager to join our team, working 26 hours per week across 4 days (Ideally working Friday).
This is a rewarding role where you'll build trusted relationships with customers, help them maintain their independence, and ensure they feel safe, secure and supported in their homes.
You'll be the familiar face within our over 55’s schemes, providing day-to-day support and housing services while working closely with colleagues’ partners to deliver a great customer experience.
As a Scheme Manager, no two days are the same.
You'll build strong relationships with customers, carry out wellbeing visits, support access to services and financial assistance, manage lettings, oversee communal facilities, and help create a safe, welcoming environment.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting customers to live independently and sustain their tenancy.
- Completing health and safety checks on the building and monitoring compliance requirements.
- Carrying out welfare visits and responding to customer needs.
- Managing tenancy-related matters, including low-level rent arrears and anti-social behaviour.
- Monitoring rent accounts and helping customers access financial support.
- Managing lettings and supporting new customers to settle into their homes.
- Ensuring communal areas are safe, clean and well maintained.
- Working with contractors, care providers and partner organisations to deliver coordinated support.
- Maintaining accurate records and using systems effectively.
You'll be someone who
- Has experience working with older people, vulnerable customers, or in a customer-facing service role.
- Enjoys building positive relationships and helping people live independently.
- Delivers excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
- Communicates clearly and confidently with a range of people.
- Can organise your workload and manage competing priorities.
- Is confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
