We are looking for a Plumbing & Gas Operative to join our HomeFix team. You will play an important role in keeping our customers' homes safe, secure and well maintained by delivering a high-quality repairs and maintenance service. In this role, your work will predominantly focus on plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations in customers' homes. During periods of higher demand, you will also support the team by carrying out gas servicing, repairs and installation works, in line with your qualifications and Gas Safe requirements. This flexible approach helps us meet customer needs and maintain service standards across the HomeFix service.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Experience carrying out domestic plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations.
  • Relevant gas qualifications and registered with Gas Safe.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements and safe ways of working.
  • Confidence working in occupied homes and clear communication with customers.
  • Comfortable using handheld devices to record job details and materials.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet agreed appointments.
  • Display behaviours consistent with Saxon Weald's values.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence; Company van and fuel card – no travel costs to and from work, plus £1,000 annual vehicle responsibility allowance.
