Β£61,446 per annum
37 hours per week | Horsham / Hybrid Working
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant change across our housing and repairs services. This is a hands-on delivery role, leading complex projects from definition through to implementation and ensuring change delivers practical improvements for customers and colleagues.
Working across operational services, technology, data, suppliers and contractors, you will bring structure and momentum to complex delivery, maintaining a clear view of priorities, risks and dependencies and helping people make good decisions. You will need both strong project management capability and a practical understanding of social housing repairs, with the confidence to work autonomously, constructively challenge and keep delivery moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex housing and repairs projects end-to-end, from definition and planning through implementation, handover and benefits realisation.
- Create and maintain effective project control, managing plans, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and change while keeping delivery practical and proportionate.
- Bring together operational teams, technical specialists, suppliers and contractors to resolve issues, manage dependencies and achieve shared outcomes.
- Lead implementation and business readiness, ensuring testing, training, communications, transition and adoption are planned and delivered effectively.
- Keep customer and operational outcomes at the heart of delivery, ensuring solutions work in practice and intended benefits are clear, measurable and owned.
Knowledge & Experience
- Substantial project management experience within social housing, including direct experience of repairs and maintenance services.
- A strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional change, involving people, processes, data and technology.
- Strong planning and delivery management skills, with the ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies and translate complexity into clear priorities and decisions.
- Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders, including operational teams, senior leaders, technical specialists, suppliers and contractors.
- Experience of housing repairs or scheduling systems, service redesign, mobilisation or relevant regulatory requirements would be advantageous.
