People Team Coordinator
(12 month fixed-term Maternity Cover)
Salary Β£32, 682
Are you someone who loves working with HR systems, enjoys getting the details right, and takes pride in delivering great customer service? Are you organised, proactive and looking for an opportunity to develop your HR career?
We're looking for a People Team Coordinator to join our People Team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in supporting colleagues throughout their employment journey while ensuring our HR systems, records and processes are accurate, efficient and effective.
At Saxon Weald, our people are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll work closely with managers and colleagues across the business, providing accurate, timely support and helping us deliver a positive employee experience. You'll also be instrumental in maintaining and improving the HR systems and data that underpin our people processes.
What you'll be doing
You'll provide support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on ensuring our HR systems and people data remain accurate and up to date, including:
- Coordinating onboarding and induction activities for new colleagues.
- Processing employment changes, leavers and payroll-related information through HR systems.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity across HR platforms.
- Producing people data, KPI reports and management information.
- Supporting compliance, audit and reporting requirements.
- Coordinating training, meetings and people initiatives.
- Providing responsive, customer-focused support to managers and colleagues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working.
- Supporting the ongoing development and effective use of HR systems across the organisation.
No two days are the same, so you'll need to be comfortable managing a varied workload, balancing competing priorities and working confidently with systems and data.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in an HR, people administration or busy administrative environment.
- Has experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data accurately.
- Is confident learning and using technology, databases and business systems.
- Has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working accurately with data and processes.
- Can produce reports and work with people data confidently.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with a wide range of people.
- Organises and prioritises work effectively.
- Enjoys building positive working relationships.
- Is committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Can handle confidential information appropriately.
A CIPD Level 3 qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Why join us?
At Saxon Weald, we're proud to provide homes and services that make a real difference to people's lives. We also work hard to create a supportive and inclusive workplace where colleagues can develop and succeed.
In return, we offer:
- A supportive and collaborative working environment.
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
- Opportunities to learn and develop.
- A comprehensive benefits package.
- The chance to make a positive impact across the organisation.
