Multiskilled Operative

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Internal Repairs Team within Home Fix.
In this role, you'll carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work in customers' homes and residential schemes, helping to keep homes safe, secure and in good condition.
Working across a range of trades, you'll complete repairs efficiently and safely, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit wherever possible.
From carpentry and plumbing repairs to tiling, plastering and flooring work, you'll provide a reliable service that puts customers first.
You'll keep customers informed throughout the repair process and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
To be successful in this role, you will: Have experience carrying out repairs and maintenance in housing or a similar environment.
Have strong practical skills across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering and flooring.
Have experience completing carpentry or UPVC repairs.
Be competent in basic plumbing repairs, including removing and refitting sinks and toilets.
Be confident using handheld technology (tablet, smartphone etc) to record work accurately, send emails and use internal systems.
Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Have experience working in customers' homes or other occupied environments.
Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a company van.
