As a Senior Software Engineering Manager working for this Networking Technology company you will work on Products developing a Network that grows smarter, enhancing connectivity. What you'll do:

• Provide technical leadership and managerial guidance to a team of 10 software engineers
• Recruit and mentor staff to grow the team's capability and their individual talent
• Review product requirements and feature requests, providing development effort estimates and risk assessments to senior management
• Influence architectural decisions, design/code reviews, test plans and technology strategy
• Manage multiple concurrent projects to deliver committed features on time
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement in software engineering practices and product quality in terms of performance, scalability, availability and flexibility
• Work closely with other software development teams as well as product line management, quality assurance (QA), and technical support.

What you'll need:

• Bachelors degree in electronics and communications engineering, computer engineering or computer science and 10 years of experience in a software development role, in the Networking domain or similar adjacent technology.
• Five years+ of experience in a technical leadership role and/or people management role.
• The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge:
• Familiar with Linux development environment. They use C, Linux, Python
• Knowledge of network routers/switches or routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc)
• Experience in open-source software development
• Knowledge with cloud native application development
• Knowledge with distributed systems and Python based micro-services.
