We are now looking for an exceptional individual to join our Weekend Office Team, working every Saturday and Sunday, supporting both office operations and community care when required.
The Role
This is a primarily office‑based position, providing strong administrative and coordination support across the service. You will also assist with on‑call responsibilities and cover care calls in the community when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing essential administrative duties, booking call visits including client reviews, spot checks, care plans, and auditing.
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls with clients, carers, and new enquiries.
- Taking referral information and supporting the onboarding process.
- Overseeing and updating staff rotas.
- Processing medication changes and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Providing care in the community when required—including occasional evenings.
- Working collaboratively within a small, supportive weekend team and sharing on‑call duties.
Working Pattern
3 days a week 08:30‑17:00. Additional on‑call responsibilities shared across the team.
Salary: ÂŁ13,585 per year (for contracted office hours). Additional pay is provided for any hours worked beyond contracted times (e.g., care calls).
Mileage: 40p per mile.
Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays (pro‑rata), plus an additional fully paid day off for your birthday.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, organised, and committed to high‑quality care. You will need:
- Previous experience in the care sector.
- Strong written skills for compiling reviews and care plans.
- Confidence using computers, including rostering systems and Microsoft Word/Excel.
- Excellent telephone manner, with confidence in promoting the service when needed.
- Experience in completing spot checks.
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel across Saxon Care’s service areas when covering care.
- Reliability, proactivity and a supportive team player.
