Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CAMO Engineer role based in the Greater Norwich Area, United Kingdom. The CAMO Engineer will be responsible for the continuing airworthiness management of SaxonAir's managed and operated fleet, ensuring compliance with EASA/CAA regulations, company procedures, and manufacturer requirements. Day-to-day activities include developing and updating aircraft maintenance programs, planning scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, monitoring aircraft reliability, and reviewing technical records and logbooks for accuracy and completeness. The role involves liaising with maintenance providers, OEMs, and regulatory authorities, raising and controlling work orders, coordinating defect rectification, and supporting aircraft entry into service or phase-in/phase-out activities. The CAMO Engineer will also contribute to safety reporting, audits, and process improvements, while working closely with operations, flight crews, and other technical teams to maintain high standards of safety, availability, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of continuing airworthiness management, including aircraft maintenance planning, AMP development, and reliability monitoring.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and managing technical records, maintenance documentation, logbooks, and airworthiness directives/service bulletins.
  • Experience coordinating with Part-145 maintenance organizations, OEMs, and aviation authorities (EASA/CAA) for maintenance and airworthiness matters.
  • Familiarity with business jet and/or helicopter operations, ideally including types similar to Hawker, Phenom, Legacy, Gulfstream, Airbus, or Agusta fleets.
  • Competence with CAMO or maintenance management software systems, as well as general IT skills (e.g., MS Office, digital documentation tools).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
