As the CCO UK, you will be a senior leader within the UK Office, responsible for executing the growth strategies of our Direct Business (Direct to Client). You will act as a bridge between clients (via the Sales/RM team) and their digital platform experience (via the Client Journeys team). Your role encompasses strategic decision-making, team leadership, operational management, and representing Saxo externally at client events and PR activities.

Mandate:

  • Report to the CEO UK and be part of the UK Senior Management team.
  • Represent the UK office on selected committees within the Saxo Group.
  • Manage teams and key personnel in the UK Office as a matrix manager.

Responsibilities:

Strategic:

  • Lead strategic decision-making and initiative implementation in a compliant manner.
  • Develop detailed local commercial strategies aligned with stakeholders.
  • Communicate strategy effectively across the organization.
  • Lead and motivate the Sales and Journey teams (~12 members), ensuring alignment with global and local stakeholders.
  • Foster a strong leadership culture aligned with Saxo’s principles.
  • Align local priorities with global initiatives and oversee their implementation.
  • Report on commercial strategy progress to Group Management.

Operational:

  • Manage budgets, KPIs, and targets for the Direct business.
  • Establish strong processes and governance for local journeys.
  • Drive sales through KPIs such as referrals, call rates, and campaign conversions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with VIP clients for development and issue resolution.

Compliance:

  • Ensure daily compliance of the First Line team with regulatory standards.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum 15 years in Financial Services, with experience in digital products, brokerage, and client-facing roles.
  • Proven leadership in achieving growth and commercial targets.
