We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Humanities to join our fantastic Humanities department at Sawtry Village Academy. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, have a genuine enthusiasm to inspire a love of learning in our students. The successful candidate will join a stable, well-resourced and very successful department. The post would suit an experienced practitioner who is confident to teach up to Key Stage 5.

- Has Qualified Teacher Status and a good educational background including a good Honours Degree or equivalent.
- Has experience of teaching and course management for BTEC/AAQ.
- Can evidence both curricular and pastoral responsibilities.
- Understands and is committed to teaching standards.
- Has high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality and organising workload.
- Is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills.
- Has a positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach towards work.
- Has a willingness to undergo further training and development.
