Salary: Teacher Main/Upper Pay Scale(£32,916 - £51,048FTE per annum) plus TLR 2.2 (£4,798 per annum).

Anglian Learning is pleased to share an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational Head of Drama to join our successful team at Sawston Village College.
You will be an excellent classroom practitioner and creative leader, with the vision, passion and drive to inspire a love of Drama and the performing arts in our students. We are looking for someone who can build on the department's strong reputation, lead a thriving curriculum and enrichment programme, and contribute to the wider personal development of our young people. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive, can‑do attitude who shares the College's and Trust's values.
Drama is highly regarded at Sawston Village College, with strong uptake at GCSE, dynamic and high‑performing student groups, and a flourishing programme of clubs, trips and productions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and leader who is keen to further develop an already successful department. We are also looking forward to the completion of a significantly enhanced Performing Arts base, which will complement our existing Drama Studio and Main Hall facilities.

The successful candidate will
- Be a creative and dynamic teacher with a passion for Drama and the performing arts
- Have experience of successfully teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Be an effective leader with the ability to inspire students and colleagues
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Be committed to achieving the highest standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes
