A leading B2B media and events business serving the global automotive industry is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join its growing marketing team. This strategic, results-driven role will lead integrated marketing campaigns across multiple automotive-focused brands, with a strong emphasis on driving revenue growth for live and virtual events and subscription-based products. The successful candidate will play a key role in audience acquisition, engagement, and retention across a highly engaged global professional audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support revenue growth for events and subscriptions.
  • Identify and target key audience segments across the automotive ecosystem, including OEMs, Tier suppliers, aftermarket, and mobility technology providers.
  • Align marketing activity with wider business objectives through close collaboration with editorial, sales, events, product, data, and finance teams.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels, including email, social, paid media, SEO, and partnerships.
  • Manage the full event marketing lifecycle, from launch and promotion through to post-event engagement and performance analysis.
  • Deliver campaigns that support subscription acquisition, retention, and upsell.
  • Ensure all marketing messaging is of the highest quality and aligned with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Work closely with editorial and creative teams to deliver compelling campaign assets aligned to a 12-month content calendar.
  • Monitor KPIs and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Dotdigital, CRM systems, and paid media platforms.
  • Use testing, insight, and data analysis to continually improve targeting, messaging, and conversion.
  • Line manage a Senior Marketing Executive, ensuring delivery to a high standard and on time.
  • Oversee external agencies and suppliers where required.
  • Act as a role model for best practice in campaign management and cross-functional collaboration.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded B2B marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, content-led environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex, multi-channel campaigns.

Required experience and skills

  • 5–7 years’ experience in B2B marketing, ideally within events, media, and/or subscriptions.
  • 1–2 years’ experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Proven track record of driving audience and revenue growth through marketing.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing platforms such as Dotdigital, CRM systems, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
