A leading international B2B media and information business is seeking a commercially driven Marketing Director to lead the marketing function across a portfolio of subscription-led brands. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced B2B marketer with a strong track record in paid content, subscriptions, corporate licensing and revenue growth within a media, publishing, events or content-led environment.

You will be responsible for shaping and delivering marketing strategy, driving commercial performance, leading a high-performing team, and building scalable, data-led programmes that support subscription and corporate licence growth.

Key responsibilities:
  • Owning and delivering annual marketing-driven revenue targets, with accountability for commercial performance and profitability
  • Developing and executing strategic marketing plans aligned to wider business objectives and growth priorities
  • Leading subscription and corporate licence acquisition, retention and yield growth
  • Partnering closely with sales, commercial and senior leadership teams to drive qualified lead generation and revenue opportunities
  • Overseeing multi-channel marketing activity across a portfolio of brands, ensuring strong ROI and performance optimisation
  • Building and evolving data-driven marketing strategies, including lead generation, nurturing, scoring and customer engagement programmes
  • Using market insight, analytics and performance data to identify growth opportunities and inform decision making
  • Leading content marketing initiatives that support paid content, product growth and audience development
  • Managing budgets, forecasting and commercial reporting in partnership with finance stakeholders
  • Developing, coaching and inspiring a multi-brand marketing team while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Acting as the senior marketing voice within the business, championing innovation, best practice and strategic impact
About you:
  • Significant senior-level experience in a B2B media, publishing, events, subscriptions or paid content environment
  • Demonstrable success delivering corporate licence / enterprise subscription revenue growth
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience owning revenue, budgets and forecasting
  • Deep expertise across digital and performance marketing channels
  • Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging data, insight and modelling to improve outcomes
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, stakeholders and multiple priorities within complex organisations
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively at senior leadership level
  • A creative, solutions-focused approach combined with strong strategic thinking and execution capability
