We have a fantastic new opportunity for a driven B2B sales professional with experience in B2B event sales (delegate sales and/or awards sales). You would be joining a progressive media business that produces market-leading content and events on an international scale. What will this role include?
- Driving revenue numbers across the full events portfolio (conferences and awards) through delegate & award table sales
- Managing the full 360 sales cycle from lead generation, cold & warm outreach, through to negotiation and deal close
- Conducting thorough market research to understand vertical mechanics
- Gaining a deep understanding of the events portfolio to successfully demonstrate the value proposition
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure event objectives are being met
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
- B2B event sales experience (delegate or award sales)
- Commercial mind-set and ability to work towards targets and deadlines
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Willingness to travel, attend conferences, and networking events
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
