An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Delegate Sales Executive to join a growing team focused on delivering high-quality industry events, webinars, and professional networking opportunities. The organisation is entering a new phase of expansion, building on the successful launch of several sector-focused events and digital programmes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying and engaging relevant audiences, building targeted contact lists, and conducting proactive outreach to secure high-quality delegates.
- Developing call scripts, researching prospects, and conducting outreach through calls and emails.
- Conducting direct outreach to secure attendance for full-day summits, half-day briefings, roundtables, and client-hosted lunches or dinners.
- Attending events to network with delegates, strengthen professional relationships, and support a community-focused approach.
- Identifying vendor-side contacts and initiating conversations that may lead to commercial opportunities related to event or webinar sponsorship.
- Monitoring industry and editorial channels for relevant contacts and engaging them to build the wider community.
- Tracking campaign performance and engagement levels throughout outreach activities and conducting post-event analysis.
- Continuously updating and expanding the contact database through research and data mining.
- Working closely with editorial and marketing teams on outreach initiatives that support broader product and audience growth strategies.
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is advantageous), including data entry, list building, segmentation, and performance tracking is required. The candidate should be comfortable working in deadline-driven environments, maintaining quality and consistency under pressure, and possess strong customer service and relationship-building skills, particularly when working with senior delegates, speakers, or sponsors.
